Job Description

DHA licinced Clinical Psychologist provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role involves working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams to promote psychological well-being, address mental health challenges, and support personal growth and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and standardized testing. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy). Provide psychotherapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, primary care providers, and other professionals to coordinate care. Participate in case conferences, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed. Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines established by governing bodies (e.g., APA, local licensing boards).

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution. Current, unrestricted license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Clinical Psychologist in Dubai. Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Knowledge of current evidence-based practices and mental health treatment standards. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in [ Trauma-focused therapy, child/adolescent psychology, couples therapy, health psychology]. Training in [ EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT]. Experience providing telehealth or working in integrated care settings.
