We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team and contribute meaningfully to the emotional well-being of our clients.
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality psychological and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based approaches. The role also involves conducting comprehensive psychometric assessments and delivering detailed psychological reports in line with clinical standards and ethical practices.
Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews with patients across age groups.
Perform psychological and psychometric assessments using standardized tools.
Interpret test data and generate detailed, clinically sound reports with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.
Collaborate with the Consultant Psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team for integrated care planning.
Psychological Therapy & Interventions
Deliver individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based methods (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, trauma-informed care).
Develop individualized treatment plans based on psychological needs.
Offer family and/or parental counselling when clinically indicated.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
Participate in regular case discussions with the clinical team.
Liaise with schools, pediatricians, speech therapists, and other relevant professionals regarding assessments and care plans.
Provide second opinions or expert input when required for complex cases.
Professional Ethics & Documentation
Ensure all documentation complies with DHA and ethical guidelines.
Submit reports and treatment documentation within established timelines.
Adhere to privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent protocols.
Qualifications & SkillsEssential Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
DHA license or eligibility as a Clinical Psychologist.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with a strong record of working with both adults and children.
Required Skills
Proficient in psychological assessments (e.g., WISC, WAIS, MMPI, BASC, Conners, etc.)
Skilled in therapy techniques such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed modalities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to write clear, detailed, and clinically defensible reports.
Fluency in English (Arabic or other language skills are a plus).
Preferred Attributes
Training or certification in child and adolescent therapy.
Experience in working within multidisciplinary mental health settings.
Familiarity with cultural sensitivities and mental health stigma in the UAE region.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
