Job Description

Roles and responsibilities shall include but not limited to: Clinical Responsibilities: a. Making assessments and interpretations based on biopsychosocial evaluations, psychometric tests, semi-structured interviews, therapy sessions, and neuropsychological assessments. b. Collaborating with other healthcare providers to evaluate the medical and physical condition of clients. c. Formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, and management plans for clients. d. Assessing clients' risk, considering their mental health and social needs when performing interventions. e. Interacting with clients and other parties regarding performing interventions. f. Employing various treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behavior modification, stress reduction therapy, and psychodrama. g. Measuring the effectiveness of interventions and implementing changes where required. h. Ensuring the maintenance and safe storage of accurate program and client records, and all other pertinent documents. i. Maintaining confidentiality of clients' treatment and records in accordance with HIPAA. Participating in clinical training seminars and mentoring assistant psychologists, psychology students, and interns on-site.

Administrative Responsibilities: a. Attend meetings, committees as assigned. b. Support on collections and completion of unit specific administrative task of unit specific KPI's, quality checks for reporting to internal and external agencies. c. Liaises with supplies department regarding requirements and shortage, report short falls to immediate supervisor. d. Ensure provision of a clear and safe working environment that minimize risk to visitor, other staff and self. e. Identify faulty/defective equipment/furniture; remove from service and report to immediate supervisor for action. f. Complies with DOH, CDC and JCIA standards g. Actively promotes and complies with the organization, infection control policies and procedures. h. Identify, manage, and report incident to immediate supervisor and to physicians as required. Completes appropriate documentation according to organization policy i. Participates in quality improvement activities. j. Should be flexible to work with all the department as per operational requirements. k. Develop policy and procedures, scope of service for clinical psychologist. Educational Responsibilities: a. Develop and update clinical knowledge and skills to ensure delivery of evidence-based care. b. Support clinical psychology in-service to promote personal development and occasionally lead in-services. c. Should be flexible to work with all the department as per operational requirements. OSH Responsibilities While at work, (and while on work premises) an employee shall: a. Take reasonable care of their own safety and health. b. Take reasonable care of the safety and health of person that may affected by their acts or omissions at work. c. Co-operate with their employer with respect to any instructions and/or actions taken by the employer to protect and/or comply with OSH requirements d. Report to their immediate supervisor any situation which they have reason to believe could present a hazard and which they cannot themselves correct. e. Report all OSH incidents and work-related injuries; and f. Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interest of health, safety, or welfare. g. Comply with the established OSHMS procedures of which they have been informed, instructed, and trained. h. Actively participate along with line management towards implementation of OSHMS requirements. Quality Responsibilities a. Abides by regulatory and accreditation requirements. b. Attends committee and management meetings as appropriate c. Awareness and compliance to all policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety, and infection control d. Accountable for reporting any untoward incidents in the Oxygen Rehabilitation Center to Quality department through Occurrence Variance reporting. e. Responsible to assist in assessing Oxygen Rehabilitation Center Risks that may lead to untoward incidents. f. Responsible to report the Monthly key performance Indicators and Jawda KPI's to Quality department if nominated for the same. Job Type: Full-time COVID-19 considerations:

Experience:
  • Clinical Psychology: 4 years (Required)
Language:
  • Arabic (Preferred)
  • English (Required)
License/Certification:
  • HAAD/DOH License (Required)
