My client, a prominent and very well-established hospital group based in Abu Dhabi, is looking to appoint a qualified (DOH or HAAD license) Arabic Speaking Clinical Physiologist to join their growing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The role requires an integrative approach, and you will be working closely with US board Certified Neurologists and Physical and Rehabilitation physicians in an integrative way. Collaboration and working as a team, excellent language and communication skills, the ability to liaise personally professionally and clinically with US trained colleagues and your patients is central to the role Having a broad cultural mindset and a non-judgemental mindset is critical. We are looking for a strong personality that will work and report findings ideas and results with confidence. this role and it will give you an opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge multinational technologies and new techniques This role includes working with issues relating to the toll that physical rehabilitation takes on the mental health of the patient and relationships. You would be required to deal with stroke patients and those who are undergoing long term care in an IP setting. Those would be vented patients and ICU patients – both adult and paediatric. Family counselling for those who have loved ones in special care and helping them with dealing with their situation and how to cultivate strengthened relationships. Further, to provide Psychological assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and their families with a wide variety of mental health problems. Manages, monitors and reviews a caseload through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic interventions. Conducts both one-to-one and group counselling services to assist patients requiring therapeutic interventions.
