The Role

The Client Engagement Executive will be responsible for the the client take-on processes, ensuring that new matters are set up correctly, promptly and in accordance with the internal processes and requirements.

The CET is responsible for providing a high level of service and a pleasant experience to the firm\'s clients and partners to contribute to achieving seamless client onboarding that support the region\'s monthly working capital targets. This is a client facing role reporting into the CET Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent a professional image to Client and ensure client satisfaction
  • Process the new matter opening process
  • Liaise with Clients, Partners and Business Acceptance Unit to obtain the necessary/missing information to enable timely and accurate completion of matter opening.
  • Provide guidance to the Firm\'s Lawyers and Legal Secretaries to improve the initial collection of information to improve speed/accuracy of matter opening
  • Deal with complex matter opening requests ensuring that all information and documentation is obtained to deliver fast and correct matter opening
  • Understand the needs of the business and suggest process improvements across all practice groups in the Middle East
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with cross-functional teams at all levels to facilitate a smooth onboarding process, measure output and identify need for continuous improvements
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs and Turnaround time
  • Attention to detail required to avoid escalations on matter opening delays
  • Conduct regular meetings with Business Acceptance Unit (BAU), Legal Secretaries, Billers and Lawyers to proactively identify and resolve impending issues
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team including having regular 1 to 1s, mid and annual year end reviews
  • Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as required by Line Manager
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor\'s degree
  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar role within a law firm, financial institution or other corporate or professional services environment
  • Experience of working on Intapp Open and 3E would be desirable or Elite Enterprise, or a similar order management software
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management and cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience in working with a small team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and Word in particular)
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required and be an admirable team player
  • High-level of confidence and enthusiasm
