We have a really exciting opportunity for a Client Development Manager to lead client development and marketing initiatives for the Middle East within the Dubai office of a prestigious U.S.-headquartered international law firm. The Client Development Manager will drive business growth and support lawyers with their marketing efforts. There will also be significant global collaboration, in line with how the partners go to market and close partnership with U.S client development counterparts, who are focused on practice-led roles. You will take responsibility for supporting all office requests for client development and marketing, and in this work, ensure that the most up-to-date information and approaches from a practice perspective are incorporated seamlessly. You will also work directly with the office managing partner, setting the strategy for the way forward. You will lead the delivery of multiple business pitches, suggesting the go-to-market approach and how to position the firm to win while ensuring the content is up-to-date and accurate. You will take a critical eye on every effort, ensuring we present the right capabilities and team. On an annual basis, you will conduct a W/L analysis and own the practice budget. As a marketing leader outside of the U.S., you will have an important role in shaping global marketing services to fit with the local approach. You will ensure that branding, digital, intelligence, client entertainment, and CRM efforts work for the Dubai office\'s needs. In your role, you will represent the global department at office and regional meetings, providing an update on the area you lead, as well as cascading information on global department initiatives and implementing the related partner training. Requirements:
  • Experience with driving office or practice client development.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of the client development budget.
  • Experience in strategic business development planning and pitching.
  • Exceptional professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with executives comfortably.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Exceptional in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint).
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • University degree
  • 8+ years of experience in professional services, legal preferred.
  • International exposure.
