Role Description:

The Cleaner / Washer is responsible for cleaning, washing, and maintaining the cleanliness of heavy trucks, trailers, equipment, and workshops. This includes both exterior and interior cleaning to ensure vehicles remain in good condition and free from dirt. The role also involves performing minor inspections and reporting any visible damage or maintenance needs.

Key Tasks:

Operational Responsibilities:

Wash and clean heavy trucks, trailers, equipment and workshops using appropriate cleaning tools and solutions. Clean and maintain the workshop floor and workstations Remove dirt, grease, or oil from vehicles using pressure washers, steam cleaners, and hand tools. Clean truck cabins, including dashboards, seats, and floors. Ensure proper waste disposal and compliance with environmental regulations. Maintain and store cleaning tools and materials properly. Inspect washing equipment and report any defects or issues.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and follow safety guidelines. Follow company safety policies and wear protective stuff (gloves, goggles, etc.). Ensure proper handling of hazardous cleaning chemicals. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills required:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous experience in cleaning heavy trucks, equipment, and workshops is an advantage Ability to handle physical work, including standing for long hours and lifting heavy tools Basic understanding of vehicle parts and maintenance is a plus
