Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all floors and surfaces, including desks, counters, and furniture.
Skills and requirements

Experience:

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is often preferred.

Familiarity with proper cleaning chemicals, their storage, and disposal methods is necessary.

Physical ability:

Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.

Must be dependable and able to work independently and/or as part of a team.

Flexibility:

A willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is often required.

Compliance:

Must be able to follow specific health and safety protocols, including infection control measures and universal precautions.

Sanitization:

Disinfect all high-touch surfaces like door handles, light switches, and countertops to prevent the spread of germs.

Restroom maintenance:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, and restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Waste disposal:

Empty trash cans and dispose of general and potentially hazardous waste according to protocol.

Restocking:

Ensure designated supply areas are stocked and organized.

Reporting:

Report any maintenance issues, needed repairs, or safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.
