The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall tidiness of the assigned premises to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, restrooms, and pantry areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures
Refill washroom and pantry supplies such as soap, tissue, and paper towels
Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as required
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Support special cleaning tasks during events, inspections, or deep-cleaning schedules
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeping staff preferred
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
Willingness to work flexible hours if required
