Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Floor Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of floor surfaces across our facility. This role is essential to ensuring a hygienic and professional environment for staff, guests, and operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, physically capable, and committed to high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floor surfaces on a regular basis Remove stains, debris, and spills promptly to prevent safety hazards Inspect flooring for damage and report maintenance needs Track cleaning supply inventory and notify the supervisor of shortages Adhere to safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly Assist with moving furniture and equipment to access all floor areas Work closely with maintenance and janitorial teams to uphold facility-wide cleanliness

Qualifications

Previous experience in floor cleaning or custodial services preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and chemical handling Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and lifting heavy objects Ability to work independently and follow scheduled cleaning routines Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards Basic communication skills and ability to understand instructions The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently is considered an additional advantage.
