To maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment by performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring tools, equipment, and work areas are kept in optimal condition to support efficient workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain workshop floors, workstations, and common areas daily.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust, debris, and oil spills from all work areas.
Dispose of waste, scrap materials, and used parts in designated bins following safety and environmental guidelines.
Clean washrooms, staff rest areas, and customer waiting areas (if applicable).
Assist in organizing tools, equipment, and materials to ensure tidy workspaces.
Clean exterior workshop areas, including entrance, parking, and surrounding premises.
Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any maintenance needs, hazards, or damages to the Workshop Supervisor.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments when needed.
Support workshop staff with basic housekeeping tasks during peak workload.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in an automotive workshop or industrial environment.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently.
Physically fit and able to handle demanding cleaning tasks.
Good attention to detail and a responsible work attitude.
