Responsibilities:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the production areas, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. This role is critical in preventing product contamination and ensuring a safe working environment.
Equipment Cleaning:
Dismantle, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment, following established procedures and schedules.
Facility Sanitation:
Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in production and non-production areas.
Chemical Handling:
Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals, adhering to safety guidelines and proper dilution ratios.?
Waste Management:
Collect and dispose of waste materials and trash from production areas, ensuring proper segregation and disposal methods.?
Compliance:
Follow all safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to lockout/tag-out procedures and chemical mixing precautions. ?
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including schedules, checklists, and any incidents or deviations.?
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any sanitation concerns and ensure a clean and safe production environment.
