Job Description

The Role

Develop 3D models for utility networks (sewer, stormwater, water, electrical, telecom, etc.) using Autodesk Civil 3D o Interpret engineering drawings, topographic data, and site layouts to generate accurate utility models o Coordinate and integrate models with other disciplines using Navisworks Manage o Perform clash detection, resolve design conflicts, and prepare coordination reports o Maintain and update BIM models through various design stages (concept to as-built) o Support design teams by producing plans, profiles, sections, and quantity takeoffs o Ensure models comply with project standards, specifications, and quality requirements o Collaborate with project engineers, BIM coordinators, and other stakeholders for smooth model integration

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field o 4+ years of experience in civil 3D modeling, particularly in utility design o Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D (pipes, pressure networks, alignments, surfaces) o Strong experience with Navisworks for clash detection and multi-discipline coordination o Good understanding of infrastructure design standards and BIM workflows o Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
