Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structure Engineer to join our team in the UAE to work on large-scale oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and supervising the construction of civil and structural components for plant facilities, pipelines, storage systems, and offshore platforms in compliance with international codes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform structural design, analysis, and detailing for both onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. Review and validate engineering deliverables including structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (such as AISC, API, ASCE, Eurocodes), and project requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, piping, and electrical departments. Conduct structural integrity assessments and provide solutions for repair or modifications as needed. Supervise contractors and guide site execution teams during construction phases to ensure quality and safety. Perform inspections and prepare technical assessment reports on civil and structural works. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for necessary approvals. Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control for civil and structural activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum 5-10 years' experience in structural engineering within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.

Strong knowledge of structural design software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD).

Familiarity with offshore structural design standards and load calculations.

Proven experience in steel, concrete, and foundation design for industrial projects.

Excellent knowledge of UAE and international construction regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
