PES ENGINEERING was born from the Engineering Division of PES, founded in 1979, and currently has over 200 permanent engineering staff, boasting significant experience in the Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Automotive sectors.



PES ENGINEERING provides technical and engineering services (Civil, Rotating Machinery, Static Equipment, Process, HSE Design, Electro-instrumental, Layout & Piping), offering over 200,000 engineering hours per year to all major Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, etc.


Currently, PES ENGINEERING has 8 offices in Italy: HQ in Rosignano Solvay (LI), Livorno, San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Vibo Marina (VV), and Gela.

Civil & Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the overall design delivery of oil & gas, chemical, sustainable energy projects. The role will include should be capable of driving engineering deliverables i.e, coordinate with inter disciplines to produce design calculations, drawings, specifications. BOQ and other technical documents for proposals and operating projects. Design experience of steel structures (pipe racks, technology structures, Shelters), tanks, RCC retaining walls, foundation, Raft etc. Design experience in Equipment foundations, machine foundations (including dynamic analysis). Industrial buildings (substations, control rooms, administration buildings, etc.) The person also needs to coordinate with site execution team and vendors to ensure that design cycle is completed.

Requirements:

Experience Required: 5-15 years, with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry. Exposure to Field Engineering and Basic/FEED engineering will be an advantage. Good experience of structural design software. i.e. STAAD, SAP 2000/ ETAB (optional), MAT 3D/ FOUN. 3D, RAM Connections, RCDC etc. Acquainted with various codes. i.e. ACI 318, ASCE, AISC, IBC etc. Basic knowledge of modelling software. i.e. AutoCAD, Microstation, TEKLA, S3D/E3D etc. Good communication and teamwork skills. B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering (M. Tech preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

EPC project experience is desirable. * ADNOC, ARAMCO, Qatar Energy project exposure will be an advantage
