Job Summary
The Civil Site Supervisor will be the key on-site representative, responsible for overseeing all construction and interior fit-out activities. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your hands-on experience in the UAE market and proven track record with high-end finishes are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Supervision:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works, with a strong focus on interior fit-out.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
• Manage day-to-day scheduling of subcontractors, laborers, and material deliveries.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager.

2. Quality Control & Assurance:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work complies with approved drawings, company standards, and client expectations, particularly for high-end finishes.
• Implement and enforce a rigorous quality control checklist for all fit-out activities (e.g., joinery, flooring, ceiling, tiling, painting).
• Identify defects or substandard work and ensure immediate corrective action is taken.

3. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Enforce strict adherence to all company and UAE HSE regulations on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly safety meetings.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized site at all times. Identify and mitigate potential hazards.

4. Communication & Reporting:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the site team, project management, clients, and consultants.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, including site diaries, manpower counts, and photo documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide clear updates on progress, challenges, and resolutions.

5. Material & Resource Management:

• Assist in coordinating the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring they meet specifications and are available when needed.
• Check all incoming materials for damage and compliance with orders.
• Manage on-site tools and equipment, ensuring they are maintained and used correctly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor within the UAE.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrable success in managing high-end residential, commercial, and F&B (Food & Beverage) interior fit-out projects from start to finish.
• Technical Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination within fit-out works.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents.
• Skills:
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
• Availability: Immediate availability to join is a significant advantage.
• Education: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• License: A valid UAE driving license is required.
