1. Site Supervision and Execution Supervise daily construction activities as per approved drawings. Ensure work is executed correctly according to project specifications. Monitor contractors and labor performance on site. 2. Quality Control Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards. Conduct site checks for concrete, steel, masonry, finishing, etc. Report and rectify any defects or non-compliance issues. 3. Project Planning and Coordination Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors. Prepare daily/weekly work schedules and follow project timelines. Ensure smooth workflow between different construction teams. 4. Technical Support Provide technical guidance to site staff and foremen. Solve engineering issues related to design, execution, or site conditions. Review shop drawings and method statements. 5. Measurement and Documentation Take site measurements for work progress and billing purposes. Prepare daily progress reports and site records. Maintain documentation for inspections, approvals, and variations. 6. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure construction activities follow safety rules and regulations. Identify hazards and implement safety measures. Support safety officers in maintaining a safe work environment. 7. Material Management Monitor material delivery, storage, and usage on site. Ensure materials meet project standards and approved specifications. Control wastage and manage inventory requirements. 8. Client and Consultant Interaction Attend site meetings with consultants and clients. Provide updates on progress, issues, and solutions. Assist in inspection and handover processes. 9. Cost Control and Budget Awareness Assist in controlling project costs by avoiding rework. Support estimation and quantity verification. Monitor resource usage effectively. 10. Handover and Completion Ensure all works are completed as per contract requirements. Prepare snag lists and coordinate rectification works. Support final inspections and project handover.
