About the Role:

Consortio, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Civil Engineer

with strong hands-on site experience. The ideal candidate must have

5-10 years of relevant experience

, including involvement in construction supervision, site coordination, design review, and project execution. Experience working within the

UAE/GCC region

is a strong advantage.

This role requires a technically proficient engineer who can effectively manage site activities, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Review and approve civil engineering drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project progress. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identify, report, and follow up on any deviations, non-conformances, or technical concerns. Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports, inspections, and documentation. Attend site meetings, provide technical input, and ensure alignment between design intent and construction execution. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment as required. Ensure all works adhere to local authority requirements and construction regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

or a related field.

5-10 years of hands-on site experience

in civil engineering, preferably within consultancy environments. Prior experience in the

UAE/GCC

is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of construction processes, civil engineering standards, and local authority regulations. Proficiency in

MS Office

, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
