Job Title: Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for managing, supervising, and executing construction activities at the project site. This role involves ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The engineer will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure quality control, progress monitoring, and efficient resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities and ensure construction work aligns with approved designs and project specifications.
Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
Inspect materials, workmanship, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Manage labor, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and minimize delays.
Check drawings and quantities for accuracy and report discrepancies to the design or project management team.
Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations on-site.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
Conduct site surveys, leveling, and setting out for construction works.
Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures on-site.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience (4-5 years typically) in site supervision and construction management.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Understanding of safety management and quality assurance standards.
Work Environment

Site-based role with occasional office coordination.
May require working extended hours depending on project deadlines and conditions.
