Position: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Dubai, with in-depth technical knowledge of civil and structural works, project coordination, and site supervision. The role requires the ability to manage project execution, quality, and timelines while ensuring full compliance with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise all civil and structural activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and safety standards. Review and approve civil and structural shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Plan, monitor, and control construction activities to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to resolve site-related issues and ensure smooth project progress. Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and adherence to local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.). Monitor subcontractor performance and verify quantities and progress for billing purposes. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality and safety of work. Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and material estimations. Identify potential risks, delays, or technical challenges and propose effective solutions. Guide and support junior engineers, site supervisors, and construction teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred). Minimum 10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in Dubai handling building construction projects. Strong technical expertise in structural and finishing works, project coordination, and quality assurance. Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes, authority standards, and construction regulations. Proven ability to manage residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects from start to completion. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. UAE Driving License preferred
