Responsibilities for Civil Site Engineer

Development of civil construction of civil construction specifications, cost estimates, engineering proposals, and project schedules Structural steel and foundation design Support of substation physical design consisting of layout, conduit, and grounding May act as Project Manager or Task Manager on small to medium sized projects Expected to mentor and assist junior staff from a technical standpoint Monitor the quality activities of the partners and sub-contractors versus the Inspection and Test Plan, check the results of the tests are documented according to the relevant standards Ensure (or do) opening of NCR's when technical deviations are identified Monitor the proper and timeliness delivery of the disposition, implementation and archiving of NCR's opened at Site Train the Alstom, sub-contractors and partners for the use of the quality tools

Qualifications for civil site engineer

Previous experience on projects located in high-density areas dealing with drainage, earthworks, combined service routes (CSR), pavement, utility relocations and protections Basic knowledge of storm water analysis and remedial design methods Basic knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD 2012 and Civil 3D or higher Manager screens assignments and provides guidance in techniques and procedures to be applied Proficient with computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel At least one year of communication tower design and analysis
