Job Description

We are in search of a proactive and experienced SITE CIVIL ENGINEER who can support report to our branch office.

Position: CIVIL ENGINEER

:

The ideal applicant will have experience dealing with subcontractors, negotiating prices for building projects, and keeping contractors and clients informed to keep projects on schedule.

Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the construction team, ensuring effective communication and attending to any issues or concerns that may arise

Assist the principal contractor, consultant, and client with site work progress communications as required.

Attend coordination meetings that consultants and clients have organized.

Hold daily meetings with the site team leaders to check in on the work and report on its progress. This will help you plan for any delays that might happen in completing tasks.

Promptly implement corrective measures to prevent the accumulation of such deviation's consequences and regain the time lost in order to complete the task on schedule.

Manage the process of transferring finished projects to clients and ensuring that any required corrections are made in accordance with the project specifications.

Conduct a quality control inspection of the materials and ongoing work to ensure they meet the specified criteria.

Resolve technical issues with clients and internal department personnel while providing technical support to other members of the site team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering construction management, or related field.

5-7 years of experience preferably from related industry.

2 Years minimum experience in supervision of commercial, residential and high-rise building project in UAE is a must.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, engineering design principles, and local safety regulations (UAE standards).

Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Familiarity with UAE construction laws, regulations, and permitting processes.

A valid UAE driving license is a plus.
