About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking a qualified

Civil Inspector

to support the construction of heavy Civils and major drainage systems/Sewerage Networks projects in Qatar.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Monitoring and inspecting the construction work and ensuring compliance with the PPPA and the Health & Safety and Welfare requirement is being carried out in compliance with the regulatory and the Authority safety and welfare requirements. Attend progress and technical meetings with the Authority and the Project Company.

Candidate specifications

Bachelor's Degree and/ or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute to the approval of the Engineer. Demonstrable experience of supervision of civil construction projects related to similar pump station or STW projects or water retaining structures. Experience should also include construction involving structural concrete, buildings, piping installations, deep excavations and pavement/ roadworks, utilities diversion/ interface etc. Must have good command of English both written and spoken; Computer skills are mandatory.
