Civil Inspector

Job Description
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction industry.
Responsible for planning, scheduling and conducting building control inspections at RAKEZ Industrial zones for new construction and modifications. Responsible for preparing inspection reports as per the approved format along with site photographs. Monitor construction sites periodically in coordination with consultant/contractor to ensure overall compliance. Maintain reports, notes and daily logs, including photographs taken during inspection. Inspect foundation, concrete, steel, and other works as directed by the line manager and as per the standard procedures and checklist. Inspect for as built and building completion applications and ensuring the compliance with building regulations and approved drawings. Identify violators and report them to line manager with detailed report including photographs and following the violation code. Follow up with client, consultant and contractor on the action plans closing the observations provided and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Maintain files and reports regarding inspection and plan check activities and findings.Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
