Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform field and laboratory tests such as soil compaction, concrete slump, compression tests, and aggregate gradation.
• Inspect irrigation and landscape installations, including underground piping, chambers, and pumping stations.
• Monitor piling works, concrete paving, and structural elements to ensure proper execution and quality.
• Validate mechanical and electrical installations for proper grounding, circuit integrity, and system performance.
• Conduct non-destructive and destructive testing on materials such as concrete and metals.
• Maintain continuous surveillance of construction activities, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing inspection reports, non-conformance documentation, and safety checklists.
• Support the Resident Engineer in technical coordination, supervision, and construction monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and participate in preparing safety reports.
• Keep detailed and accurate inspection records, test results, and as-built documentation.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising irrigation, landscaping, and infrastructure works.
• Skilled in concrete works, pumping stations, and chamber installations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and inspection procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Prior experience on Dubai-based irrigation and infrastructure projects is an advantage.
