ECEC Engineering Consultants LLC, a dynamic and growing firm based in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Civil Inspector

to join our team immediately.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities on our projects are performed in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and relevant UAE standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the quality, safety, and integrity of our diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect construction work including structural, architectural, and wet utilities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Review and understand project drawings, specifications, and method statements. Monitor site activities for adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. Prepare daily inspection reports (DIRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other relevant documentation. Conduct site tests and coordinate with third-party testing agencies as required. Liaise with contractors, project managers, and engineers to resolve any site issues promptly. Ensure all materials on site are as per approved material submittals and have the necessary certifications. Witness and document critical construction activities and inspections.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years

of experience as a Civil Inspector,

specifically with Engineering Consultancies in the UAE.

Must have a thorough understanding of local authority regulations and procedures in Dubai (e.g., DM, TRAKHEES, DDA). Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in preparing clear and concise reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
