Key responsibilities:

Supervise and inspect contractor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Identify non-conformances, issue site instructions or NCRs, and verify corrective actions. Coordinate with contractors, to resolve site issues. Ensure all works adhere to local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Review and verify construction documents, checklists, and material submittals for compliance. Monitor site safety practices and report any unsafe conditions. Verify all quality control procedures and checklists are properly implemented on site. Provide daily updates to the Resident Engineer (RE

)

, thoroughly documenting site activities, progress, and issues as required. Witness and verify construction activities and tests - such as concrete pouring, rebar fixing, excavation, and material testing - to meet project specifications. Conduct thorough inspections of contractor-supplied materials upon delivery to the site, verifying their conformity with approved submittals, specifications, and quality standards before allowing their use in execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Civil Inspector with a consultant. Good communication and reporting skills. Proficient in MS Office. Valid UAE driving license. The ability to join immediately is highly preferred.
