Job Description
We are consulting engineering firm based in Abu Dhabi seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Civil Inspector with 5+ years of experience
(can join immediately) to ensure that all civil works on-site are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and client requirements. The Civil Inspector will conduct regular inspections, verify workmanship, and report any non-conformances or deviations, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.Inspect construction activities related to civil and structural works (e.g., excavation, foundations, concrete, masonry, roads, drainage, etc.). Ensure compliance with approved design drawings, specifications, codes, and applicable standards. Monitor and document the progress and quality of work performed by the contractor. Conduct inspections before, during, and after construction activities and record results. Verify materials delivered to the site and ensure they meet approved submittals and specifications. Identify and report non-conformities, and coordinate with engineers for corrective actions. Ensure that safety measures are implemented on-site in accordance with project safety plans. Maintain detailed site records, inspection reports, and photographic evidence of completed works. Attend site meetings and assist in preparing inspection reports and site correspondence.
