Job Title: Civil Inspector

Location:

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Minimum 8+ years in UAE, including 5+ years in consultancy

0-30 days (Immediate joiners preferred)

:Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of civil works at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements. Monitor and assess the workmanship and materials used in the construction of large-scale building projects, ensuring adherence to approved plans and local authority regulations. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, highlighting non-conformance, quality issues, and recommended corrective actions. Liaise effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve on-site issues promptly. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, building codes, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations. Review and approve construction materials and methodologies, verifying alignment with required specifications and standards. Perform routine site visits to monitor progress and quality in line with project timelines. Support quality control procedures and coordinate on-site material testing as required. Offer technical guidance to site personnel to ensure clear understanding of the project's quality and compliance expectations. Maintain continuous communication with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 8+ years of civil inspection experience in the UAE, with at least 5 years in an engineering consultancy. Strong background in large-scale building projects. In-depth knowledge of civil engineering standards, construction practices, and UAE municipal requirements. Familiarity with inspection and quality reporting tools/software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work. Experience working under Abu Dhabi regulations is preferred.
