Responsible for the planning, design, execution, and supervision of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, utilities, water supply networks, sewerage systems, and related civil works. Planning & Design
Review and interpret approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs for infrastructure works.
Assist in design coordination for roads, pavements, stormwater drainage, sewerage, water supply, and utility networks.
Prepare method statements, work programs, and technical submissions.
Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and utility service providers.
Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise day-to-day site activities related to infrastructure construction.
Ensure correct setting out, leveling, and alignment of roads, pipelines, manholes, chambers, and utilities.
Monitor excavation, backfilling, compaction, trenching, and reinstatement works.
Ensure proper installation of pipes (HDPE, uPVC, GRP, RCC), culverts, and manholes.
Coordinate asphalt works, kerbs, interlock paving, and road markings.
Quality Control
Ensure works comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
Coordinate material inspections and testing (soil compaction, concrete, asphalt, pipe testing).
Raise and close IRs, WIRs, and NCRs in coordination with QA/QC.
Maintain accurate site records, as-built drawings, and daily progress reports.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Ensure compliance with HSE plans and site safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices on site.
Coordinate with Safety Officers to mitigate site hazards.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with MEP teams for utility crossings and interfaces.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, and site supervisors.
Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.
Resolve site issues, clashes, and technical challenges.
Cost & Schedule Control
Monitor project progress against the approved schedule.
Assist in quantity take-offs, measurement sheets, and subcontractor billing.
Identify variations and support preparation of variation claims.
Handover & Close-Out
Prepare as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
Support testing, commissioning, and final handover to the client/authorities.
Ensure proper demobilization and site reinstatement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
3-7 years of experience in infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, utilities).
Strong knowledge of local authority standards and specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project management tools.
Good knowledge of construction materials and testing procedures.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with infrastructure works in UAE or GCC countries.
Familiarity with RTA, DM, DEWA, ADDC, or similar authority standards.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
