We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to supervise on-site civil construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with quality standards and engineering plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
Manage a team of laborers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Ensure proper use of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
Report project progress, delays, and issues to the project engineer/manager.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Inspect work completed by the team and ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
Assist in preparing daily/weekly progress reports and material requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
Leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.
Experience with high-rise, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Certification in safety or construction management is an advantage.
