Job Summary:

Directly supervises and controls all on-site civil construction activities for multi-story building projects. Ensures technical compliance, productivity, safety, and quality standards according to contract documents, Dubai Municipality rules, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site civil operations, such as excavation, trenching, compaction, PCC, formwork, concrete casting, blockwork, backfilling, and levelling Ensure all work follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Supervise setting out using total stations, theodolites, laser levels, confirming grid lines, elevations, and benchmarks on site Coordinate closely with site engineers and QA/QC inspectors for pre-pour checks, material tests, and work inspection Allocate and manage manpower and subcontractors for efficient workflow, monitor attendance and productivity Maintain constant site surveillance to identify and rectify construction defects immediately Monitor concrete batching and pouring sequences, ensuring proper curing, compaction, and finishing Inspect material deliveries on site for quality and quantity, ensuring proper storage and handling Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely supply of construction materials and equipment Enforce safety protocols rigorously, conducting daily toolbox talks and PPE compliance checks Conduct daily progress reporting with photo documentation and highlight any delays or risks Manage labour disputes, absenteeism, and technical clarifications with project management support Mentor junior foremen and labourers on construction techniques, work discipline, and safety practices Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site and temporary facilities Manage and execute urgent on-site repairs or modifications as per engineer's instructions

Qualifications and Experience:

Secondary school certificate or Diploma. 12 or more years of practical site experience including 6 years as a Civil Foreman in building construction in the UAE/GCC Able to read & interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings precise.
