Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily civil works related to
power distribution projects
(trenching, ducting, manholes, foundations, substation civil works, etc.). Assign tasks to site teams, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality. Ensure work is carried out as perdrawings, specifications, and safety standards
. Monitor site progress, prepare daily site reports, and escalate issues to the Site Engineer/Construction Manager. Coordinate with engineers for inspection requests and approvals (RFI, MIR, WIR). Ensure compliance withUAE civil defense, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, or relevant authority standards
. Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization effectively. Maintain proper documentation of site activities, material usage, and incident records. Ensure safe working practices and enforce company HSE policies on site. Assist in resolving technical and site execution challenges.Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering
or equivalent.5-8 years' experience
as a Civil Foreman, preferably in theUAE contracting sector
with exposure topower distribution projects
(132/220kV substations, cabling, trenching works, etc.). Strong knowledge ofcivil works, excavation, backfilling, and substation structures
. Familiarity withUAE utility authorities' standards
(DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA). Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents. Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Strong awareness of HSE requirements in civil and electrical project environments.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
