Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers (masons, carpenters, steel fixers, helpers). Ensure construction works (concreting, blockwork, plastering, shuttering, finishing, etc.) are executed as per drawings and specifications. Allocate daily work tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality output. Maintain site safety, ensuring workers comply with health & safety regulations. Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors for smooth site operations. Report daily site progress, manpower, and material requirements to the site engineer/project manager. Ensure optimum utilization of materials and minimize wastage. Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide technical guidance to workers.
Requirements
Minimum
5-7 years of experience
as a Civil Foreman in building/construction projects. Strong knowledge of civil construction works (structural, finishing, concreting, etc.). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Good leadership and people management skills. Familiarity with site safety protocols and quality standards. Diploma or trade certificate in Civil Engineering (preferred).Job Type: Full-time
