Job Description

Job Summary:
The Civil Foreman oversees and coordinates construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They supervise laborers, subcontractors, and equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: * Supervision & Coordination:

• Lead and manage construction crews, including masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
• Quality Control:

• Ensure work complies with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Inspect materials, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works for quality.
• Report defects or deviations to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Safety Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.
• Progress Monitoring:

• Track work progress and report delays or issues to management.
• Ensure deadlines are met by optimizing manpower and resources.
• Material & Equipment Management:

• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of tools/machinery.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily logs of work progress, manpower, and equipment.
• Prepare reports on site activities, incidents, and material consumption.
