Full-timeJob Purpose:
To lead and supervise all civil works on-site, ensuring that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities related to excavation, concrete, formwork, steel reinforcement, blockwork, plastering, and finishing. Ensure the workforce is productive and working as per project schedules. Interpret construction drawings and communicate job requirements to workers. Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage on-site. Enforce safety procedures and ensure all workers follow HSE guidelines. Maintain records of daily manpower, work progress, material usage, and site conditions. Liaise with engineers and subcontractors to resolve site issues. Provide input to improve efficiency and address potential delays.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent trade certification. 7-10 years of site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of construction procedures, safety standards, and ability to read drawings. Leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
