Job Description

We are urgently looking for Civil Foremen who are responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site civil construction activities to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role involves direct supervision of labor, coordination with engineers and subcontractors, and strict adherence to HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution:

Supervise daily civil works including excavation, concrete works, masonry, plastering, formwork, and finishing activities. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications. Allocate tasks to site labor and ensure productivity targets are met.

Coordination & Communication:

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow. Communicate site requirements, progress updates, and challenges to the management team. Assist engineers during inspections, surveys, and site measurements.

Quality Control:

Monitor workmanship and material usage to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct routine checks and promptly rectify defects or non-conformities. Ensure proper curing, alignment, and finishing of civil works.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Enforce site safety rules, company HSE policies, and local authority regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers use appropriate PPE at all times. Identify potential hazards and report safety incidents or near-misses immediately.

Planning & Reporting:

Assist in daily and weekly work planning to meet project schedules. Maintain site records including attendance, work progress, and material usage. Support the preparation of daily progress reports and material requisitions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or relevant trade qualification. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as a Civil Foreman in construction or fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with local construction standards and safety regulations (UAE experience preferred).
