Job Summary:

The Civil Foreman supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the civil works at site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule. The role involves managing workers, coordinating subcontractors, inspecting completed work, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for civil and structural works (concrete, blockwork, plaster, finishes, etc.). Ensure that works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Distribute tasks to site workers and monitor progress to meet project timelines. Check materials and ensure sufficient quantities are available before starting work. Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Report daily progress, manpower, and material usage to the Site Engineer. Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, finishing, etc.) to avoid work conflicts. Ensure that safety measures and company policies are strictly followed by the workforce. Identify and report any design discrepancies, site issues, or delays immediately. Assist in preparation of daily site reports, checklists, and inspection requests. Supervise concrete pouring, rebar fixing, formwork, masonry, plastering, and finishing works. Train and guide workers to improve performance and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum

5 years

of experience in civil construction, preferably in building/villa/infrastructure projects in UAE. Strong knowledge of civil works, site execution methods, and construction drawings. Familiar with safety regulations and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
