Civil Estimator
Work Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our tendering process, ensuring our bids are competitive, comprehensive, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil works.
• Source and solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and time.
• Prepare and submit tender proposals and quotations within strict deadlines.
• Assist in the evaluation of project risks and opportunities during the bidding phase.
• Maintain a database of estimates and costs for future reference.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimate accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of UAE-specific experience in a similar estimating role within a contracting company.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of estimation, tendering procedures, and cost analysis for civil projects.
• Software Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Experience with AutoCAD and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS) is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
