We specialize in the planning, design, and implementation of sustainable coastal infrastructure projects and are looking for a highly experienced Civil Engineering Manager with a strong background in coastal engineering.
The Role
We're seeking a Civil Engineering Manager with a specialization in Coastal Engineering to lead and manage our coastal infrastructure projects. This is a key role where you'll use your expertise to develop sustainable and resilient coastal solutions that meet both environmental and engineering standards.
Your responsibilities will span from initial design to final execution, including:

• Coastal Design & Planning: Lead the design of coastal protection structures, manage studies on erosion and sedimentation, and oversee dredging and reclamation projects.
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of coastal engineering projects, ensuring they stay on track and within budget. You'll coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Modeling & Analysis: Utilize advanced coastal modeling software like Delft3D and MIKE 21 to analyze waves, hydrodynamics, and sediment transport.
• Environmental Impact: Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for coastal projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate effectively with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and marine biologists. Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

Your Profile

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Coastal or Ocean Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with a significant focus on coastal engineering.
• Extensive experience working within the UAE's coastal environment.
• Proficiency in coastal modeling software (Delft3D, MIKE 21).
• Proven experience with EIAs, environmental permitting, and a strong understanding of local regulations (e.g., EAD).
• Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
