Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of the Civil Engineer on site
• Act as primary point of contact for the construction supervision of the project between the contractor, client and consultant team
• Project progress reporting
• Quality control and design modifications
• Place an emphasis on safe construction practices (zero incident) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Lead by example in driving safe practices on site
• Establish an appropriate working relationship with the contractor
• Build a trusted relationship with the client and consultant team
• Use effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress to the Client
• Monitor progress of construction against the program and take steps to avoid delay
• Establish and enforce effective project quality procedures
• Identify, manage and report project risks
• Evaluate, select and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and devices and implement solutions to problems encountered
• Manage software and systems required for the administration of the project construction supervision

Education, Qualifications and Skills

• 5 years of UAE experience in the same field is a must.
• Has Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Fully understand the aspects of site supervision and construction management
• Be commercially astute with experience in administering the Standard Conditions of Contract in UAE

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED6,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
