Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in civil engineering works, with

at least 3 years

on substation projects. Proven experience in civil works related to GIS buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, and other substation components. Strong knowledge of local authority standards and approvals (e.g., ADDC, TRANSCO, AADC). Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. UAE driving license preferred. TRANSCO Competency and Abu Dhabi Municipality Engineer License (mandatory).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Review and interpret IFC drawings, technical specifications, and project documents related to civil works. Plan and oversee civil construction activities such as excavation, formwork, concreting, reinforcement, masonry, and finishing works. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution. Ensure civil works are executed as per project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Supervise site teams, including foremen and laborers, ensuring efficient resource deployment and performance. Conduct inspections and raise RFI/IRs for completed civil works as per inspection plans. Monitor material usage, construction progress, and subcontractor performance. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, material requests, and site documentation. Participate in technical meetings and resolve site-related issues promptly.
