Licensed Civil Engineer

approved for steel construction by Dubai Municipality (DM)

with a

minimum G+M license

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from design to completion Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality standards and local regulations Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities for project approvals Prepare and review structural drawings, BOQs, and technical reports

Requirements:

Dubai Municipality-approved Civil Engineer (G+M minimum) Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the UAE Strong knowledge of local construction codes and standards Excellent communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

Design and Planning: Develop detailed civil engineering plans for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and standards.

Approval Process: Manage and oversee the approval process for engineering projects, including submitting plans and designs to relevant local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.) and obtaining all necessary permits and approvals.

Site Supervision: Oversee construction sites to ensure work is carried out according to the approved designs, budget, and timelines.

Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects comply with approval requirements and local laws.

Project Management: Monitor the progress of projects, resolve any issues, and ensure adherence to local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance: Ensure projects comply with all UAE regulations, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of approvals, permits, inspections, and other regulatory documents.

Problem Solving: Address challenges related to approval delays or regulatory issues and find solutions to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

Experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years of experience working in the UAE. Proven experience in obtaining permits and approvals from local authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, or other relevant government bodies.
