Job Description

The

Civil Engineer supports the successful execution of civil engineering projects by managing construction sites, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards. This role serves as a critical liaison between stakeholders, ensuring projects meet agreed-upon specifications, budgets, and timelines while contributing to the company's growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Management:

Manage construction sites and prepare action plans with clear assignments. Coordinate and organize tasks as per the action plan, liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other professional staff (especially quantity surveyors).

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical advice to workers at the site, ensuring quality control and resolving technical issues promptly. Review and verify technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. Inspect and verify the accuracy of site calculations and quantities of procured materials.

Project Coordination:

Arrange and maintain project plans, sharing project management details upon request. Ensure projects meet agreed-upon specifications, budgets, and timelines. Regularly report project status to the General Manager, highlighting progress and potential challenges.

Health, Safety, and Sustainability:

Ensure health, safety, and sustainability policies, as well as legislative procedures, are followed.

Maintenance and Delegation:

Oversee maintenance works, manage agricultural works, and delegate assignments effectively to the maintenance team.

Networking and Industry Awareness:

Attend exhibitions and conferences to network and stay updated with the latest industry developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or a related field 2-4 years of experience in civil design, construction, fit out or related fields. Experience working on-site and managing construction projects is a plus
