Civil Engineer Fitout Project Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a background in fitout projects to join our team as a Project Manager. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for turning design concepts into reality, we would love to hear from you. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing fitout projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, cost estimation, coordination, and quality control. Responsibilities:
Contract length: 24 months Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month Ability to Commute/Relocate:
- Project Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for fitout projects, both internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Quotation Preparation:
- Prepare accurate and competitive project quotations based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand the scope and specifications of each project.
- Ensure that quotations are submitted within the designated timeframes.
- Site Supervision and Coordination:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the site supervisor to resolve any site-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ):
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fitout projects.
- Work closely with the quantity surveyor to ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
- Review and update BOQs as necessary during the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and standards on-site.
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with relevant regulations and codes.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in fitout projects, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate BOQs and cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
