Civil Engineer
Job Description
Plan, design, and oversee construction projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water systems, and infrastructure.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain quality standards.
Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Perform cost estimation, budgeting, and project scheduling.
Ensure adherence to local codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred for senior roles). Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (optional, depending on role). Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, or other civil design software. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel to project sites (if required).
