Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining construction projects such as buildings, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects Prepare drawings, designs, reports, and cost estimates Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies Supervise construction activities and ensure quality control Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards Coordinate with architects, contractors, government authorities, and stakeholders Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues Prepare project documentation and reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional registration/licensing (if required) Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations Proficiency in engineering software and design tools

Job Summary:

The Society Engineer is responsible for overseeing maintenance, repair, and development works within a registered housing or cooperative society. The role ensures structural safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient management of society infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect society buildings and infrastructure for structural safety Plan and supervise repair, renovation, and maintenance works Prepare estimates, tenders, and technical specifications Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and society management Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and society bylaws Certify work completion and quality standards Advise the society on technical matters and long-term maintenance planning Attend society meetings when required and provide technical guidance

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Registration with relevant engineering or local authority body Experience in building maintenance or society-related projects
