Job Description

We are looking for "G+1 to 4" civil engineer having Dubai Municipality (DM) license who can design, supervise, and manage the construction of buildings ranging from ground floor plus one floor (G+1) up to ground floor plus four floors (G+4). The general responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Design

: Planning, designing, and managing construction projects from conception to completion. This includes conducting feasibility studies, site investigations, and preparing detailed blueprints and technical specifications using design software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Compliance and Regulation

: Ensuring that all project plans and construction activities comply with Dubai Municipality (DM) guidelines, local building codes, safety regulations (health and safety), and environmental standards.

Site Supervision

: Overseeing all on-site construction activities, including excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, structural works, and finishing.

Inspections and Approvals

: Liaising with DM engineers and other local authorities to facilitate inspections, acquire necessary permits, and obtain final approvals.

Project Management

: Managing project resources, budgets, timelines, and material purchases, while also resolving any design or construction-related problems that arise during the project lifecycle.

Coordination and Communication

: Collaborating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other professionals, and mentoring junior engineers or site staff.
Key Skills and Qualifications

Education

: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Licensure

: The specific G+1 or G+4 Dubai Municipality (DM) approval/license is a mandatory local requirement for this role.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in design and visualization software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.), strong mathematical and analytical skills, and knowledge of building materials and construction methods.

Soft Skills

: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential for coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders.
