Civil Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and approve construction drawings, structural designs, and BOQ. Supervise all civil works on-site, ensuring quality execution as per project specifications. Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and project managers. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. Inspect and certify site work, materials, and workmanship. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality & Trakhees construction regulations. Manage technical issues, NCRs, RFIs, and project documentation. Monitor project cost, timeline, materials, and labor requirements. Conduct quantity take-offs and verify subcontractor invoices. Attend site meetings and communicate project status to management. Ensure strict compliance with HSE rules and company safety policies. Provide engineering solutions to site problems and design conflicts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 2-5 years construction experience in the UAE (preferably Dubai projects). Knowledge of UAE building codes and approval procedures. Experience in building/warehouse/villa/commercial construction. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office. Strong leadership & communication skills. Valid UAE driving license (advantage). Dubai Municipality Engineer Registration is an advantage.
