Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to plan, design, and supervise construction projects such as buildings, roads, infrastructure, and structural works. The candidate will handle project planning, site supervision, quality control, coordination, and ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Design

Prepare and review

designs, drawings, and specifications

for civil and structural works. Conduct surveys, feasibility studies, and site evaluations. Perform calculations for loads, materials, and structural elements. Assist in preparing

BOQs, cost estimates, and project schedules

.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise and monitor daily construction activities. Ensure work execution adheres to

approved drawings, quality standards, and safety norms

. Coordinate with subcontractors, labor teams, and other engineering disciplines. Resolve site issues and ensure timely progress of work.

3. Quality Assurance & Safety

Conduct inspections and quality checks of materials and workmanship. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and construction guidelines. Monitor implementation of safety practices, method statements, and risk assessments.

4. Project Coordination

Communicate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors. Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input. Maintain documentation including reports, drawings, approvals, and site logs.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Review as-built drawings, inspection requests, and handover documents. Maintain records of materials, manpower, and equipment used.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering

or related field. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Office

, and civil engineering software (STAAD Pro, Revit, Primavera is a plus). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

(optional)

Experience in building construction, infrastructure, or project management. Knowledge of local building codes and standards. Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and safety regulations.

Work Environment

Work involves both office and site-based duties. Requires teamwork, field inspections, and coordination with multiple departments.
